Nachal Dolev is at the highest point in Ramat Beit Shemesh. It is a big circle, and the longest street in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph. Being that Nachal Dolev is a long street with a variety of people, many services can be found. Including pre-schools, drug stores, shuls parks and more.
On Nachal Dolev you will find 2-bedroom (3 room) apartments to large penthouses with 6-bedroom (7 rooms). Half of the apartment buildings have elevators, half do not. On one section of Nachal Dolev there are duplexes (apartments with 2 levels) which have a gardens area.
The religious level of the people on Nachal Dolev varies from Dati Leumi to Haradie. It really depends upon the apartment building and the neighbors.
Located just past Nachal Katlav on Nachal Dolev is the KSY Shul (Kehillas Shivtei Yeshurun) otherwise known as the Rav Haber Shul. Past the shul, on the same side of the street, is the Community Center (Matnas). The Community Center has many activities (classes, after school and summer programs) for children of all ages plus classes for adults as well. At the top of Ayalon Park (Nachal Ayalon and Nachal Dolev) is Park Center. It has a post office, grocery store, health care offices, restaurants and other stores . Across from Nachal Maor on Nachal Dolev is one of the many synagogues on the street. At this schul you can find a minyan almost any time of the day, a “minyon factory.” Just down the street a little bit from this schul is another small grocery store.
At the corner of Nachal Dolev and Nachal Matta you will find Harmony. It is one of the newest developments in Ramat Beit Shemesh Aleph. This is a community apartment building for the elderly. It has specific rules and restrictions. The building is new, construction was finished on it recently.
On the corner of Nachal Timna and Nachal Dolev is a park for children of all ages with play equipment and open green space. Across from this park is another shul, the “Carlebach” schul.
